On the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month, the tide in the rivers is highest and the moon at its brightest, creating a romantic setting ideal for lovers. The Thai people choose this day to hold the 'Loy Kratong' festival, or the 'festival of light.' Loy Kratong is one of the two most recognized festivals in the country.

From the 24th to 28th November, all of Thailand joins in this beautiful holiday. One thing you won't read about anywhere, is the mad firework fight that goes on the river banks in Chiang Mai. Not to be missed, very loud and very funny!

As part of your package you will be supplied with a Kratong and some fire crackers, so no excuses, light up and join in the celebration!

You will however have to find yourself your partner for the night.
