1st Grading 2005, the next Cambridge grading will be on the 5th March. All Huntingdon members grading for their Yellow & Green on the 3rd March at 8.30pm in the St.Peters squash courts. Please let me know in advance that you wish to grade.

April Tour, there is a huge interest in in the Songkran tour in April. It is limited to 14 people. To ensure your placement on the tour, a £100 non-refundable deposit is now required. Essential Seminars during February, the network is proud to present in association with Kru Tony Myers, a Judging & Refereeing course recoginsed by all major Muay Thai associations and clubs. New Club Rules, there are one or two changes for 2005. First being the 10 rules of Singto, and the three strike rule. The price of membership has risen, as well as the price of equipment, Singto Wear and Club courses. The aim of these changes, is to take us to the fore front of the UK Muay Thai Scene. We will rise to be one of the strongest clubs to fight against in 2005. Titles will come!!

Cambridge Deputised Assistant Instructors, due to demand, the Cambridge club will not be closing during the November tour. Instead Max, Ben, Nick, Dave, Wellat, Shane's dad have all been deputised to look after the club. The club will continue to run Mon/Wed/Sat as normal as possible. RESPECT THEM! They have volunteered to help me. Anyone not being respectful will be banned from the network when I get back!! *Please note training fee on Saturdays may be more than usual, just to cover the cost of the hall hire.*

Fighters Stepping out, Shane Littlechild (10) won his fight in Birmingham with ease, TKO'ing his opponent in the second round. Full write up on the fighters page. Marcus Delamare's fight in Manchester did not go through due to sickness on both fighters parts. Max Whyte's fight in Warrington did not go through due to a mis-match on the promoters side. Yarik 'The Bull' Maryszczak, Shane Littlechild, Max Whyte, Peter King, Sean Elliot, Anthony Durrant will al be competing this weekend on the KO Amatuer show in Tottenham. Max Whyte, Shane Littlechild and Peter King are to be confirmed on the WMTO show in Birmingham on the 24th October. Marcus Delamare, Shane Littlechild and Yarik 'The Bull' Maryszczak have been confirmed on the WAKO Pro show in Nottingham on the 7th November. Make sure you get some tickets to support your club member.

Fighters Red Square, You may have noticed the new red square in Cambridge. Where only a few chosen have been allowed to train on it. These chosen few are the clubs fighters, the students who have taken the brave step of entering the ring. This move, is in hope to highlight their hard work and dedication that they are now giving in hope of raising the club stature to one of high quality fighters. If you wish the privalge to train on the fighters hot square, you will need to pass the fitness test, then the sparring test. Then its down to you to keep your personal training and diet in shape. Training a minimum of 3 times a week on the pads, running a minimum of 3 times a week, and retaining a constant weight. If you think your of the quality the club is looking for in a fighter, then ask to be tested.

Pre-class Running, all fighters are expected to run before every session, they can join me 15 minutes before the class. Or run on their own, but you are expected and will be pushed into running before training. Please make sure that you are running a minimum of three times a week, and a minimum of three times a week on the pads. Remember, when your not training, someone is training, to KICK YOUR ASS!!

New Equipment in Cambridge, there will be a new Floor to Ceiling ball, Speedball, large pull up bar, mirror wall, and floor matting as of next wednesday. We will also have 5 new large kick shields to use.. with this new equipment I hope that we are moving in the right direction in creating future boxing champions. And of course we will be running our very own 'Light Sparring competitions' again!

Sponsorship, the network has gained a new sponsorship from a local company. Steve's Taxi's and Car Sales. We now have regular acces to a 8 seater minibus, and if all works out well over the coming months, we should have access to a 16 seater minibus. More competitions, tournaments, and day outs. Also after his last fight, one of our more well known boxers has gained a sponsorship deal from a large clothing shop in Peterborough. A big thankyou to Steve's Taxi's and Steve's Car Sales.

Thai Dinner & Dance, the club attended and gave a demonstration of Muay Thai last night at the Comrades club Godmanchester. It also included Thai Buffet dinner, Thai Dance, and disco! The demonstration was much appreciated by all attending, and recieved several rounds of applause, for one reason or another. The 200 people attending the meal where left in fits of laughed with 'O' and my actual fight sequence, that ended up with me getting scolded by the buffet, and the DJ nearly loosing his speaker. In a word you had to be there!! Thanks to Shane and 'O' for all their help, we will be giving another demonstration on the 4th July in Newmarket, and 26th July at the HYC in Huntingdon.

Fighters Stepping out, Shai Delamare (7), Shane Littlechild (10), 'O' (16), Sean Elliot, Adam Burns, Marcus Delamare all took the long journey upto Stockport. After Master Sken of the Sitnarong Camp, invited our club to take part in his interlub. Master Sken is one of the originators of Muay Thai in England, and I believe to be the only one still teaching here. It was a great honour to have our club invited to this interclub, and an even greater honour to have Master Sken compliment me on my students abilities. A very big well done for all you efforts at such short notice!!

They where the supporting bouts for this jam packed show at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre in Birmingham. The junior Singto squad once again triumphed over all comers. With 3 Wins and 1 draw!!! Well done lads, I couldn't have asked for any better. A big well done!!

Thai Dinner & Dance, the club will be attending and giving a demonstration of Muay Thai on the 12th June at the Comrades club Godmanchester. Tickets are £15 from the club. It includes Thai Buffet dinner, Thai Dance, Thai Boxing, and disco!

Pay Monthly Scheme, at the beginning of june, a new pay monthly scheme will be introduced. It is not compulsary, but it is the way we will be going. The package... Train four times a week for a month (saturday's not included), for £20 Adults & £16 Juniors. If you train saturday, you will pay the normal fee of price £3.50 adults, £2.50 juniors. Over a period of a month, you could save £10.00 Adults & £6.50 Juniors. That Works out at Adults £2.22 & Juniors £1.77 per class.

I.A.O.M.A.S., you should have seen a new logo on our welcome page. The International Association Of Martial Arts School, is a concept that I wish many of the UK Muay Thai Clubs would organise for them selves. Basicly... if you wish to go and train somewhere else in the WORLD or England, in a another style or Thai Boxing. All you have to do is get incontact with that particular school, and go train with them for upto two weeks for free!!

Pre-class Running, it has come to my attention that some of you are unaware of the pre-class run. Every session I try to run for 15 minutes before the class, to help with training, I suggest you join me! It would be good to see more of you attending the run. Just turn up 30 mins early!!

Social Medicinal Drink , as some of you are aware, the club now meets for one drink after every class, to help with further burning of calories. How? You'll have to come and find out! All the chatting, is, and will continue to bring all members together, already good things are happening! Juniors are also welcome, as the venues are Family bars.

Introduce a Thai month, thats right, to fall in line with last months 'introduce a friend month', this month will be 'introduce a Khon Thai month'. All members are expected to bring at least one new Thai member into the club during April & May, free training for doing so!!

Huntingdon Academy refurbishment, the Huntingdon Academy will be getting a facelift during April. To include new paint, new heaters, re-varnished floors. The School is also going to donate some sparring gloves.A boxing ring is also being looked into as we speak!
